Lambda borrows a billion for chips

The AI boom is running on borrowed money. Lambda, a neocloud provider, just raised one billion dollars in private debt to buy Nvidia AI chips and lease them to Microsoft. Compute demand is real. So is the leverage behind it.

Anthropic introduced a hardware standard letting AI agents control physical devices, pushing them past text, images and code into robotics and real-world actions.
