Labs Pledge Billions To Genesis Mission

Five AI companies just signed on to a federal research agenda. President Trump announced $2.4 billion in commitments: Nvidia pledges $1 billion, AMD $500 million, OpenAI $200 million, Anthropic and Google $150 million each. The tools and compute support the Genesis Mission across more than fifteen federal agencies.

Also today: Anthropic launched its Cyber Mission: a free Claude-powered OSS Scanner for opted-in open-source projects, plus frontier models and engineers sent to power and water operators.

TechCrunch reports OpenAI's revenue is roughly $20 billion under the previously reported $70 billion annualized run rate.
